Almighty God, at the apex of this summer season we turn from leisure and work to engage in this hour of fellowship, and to reaffirm our identity as responsible citizens committed to service, and to the practice of that which is true, fair and beneficial in our relationships. Accept our gratitude for food and sociability enjoyed here today, and for the joy of involvement in this special fellowship. We pray with grateful hearts and spirits, energized to serve. Amen.

Rotary Zone Institute
You may not get a chance to attend a Rotary Zone Institute this close to Jackson again. The Rotary Zone 30 & 31 Institute will be held in New Orleans Aug. 27th-30th. There is a one day special to hear inspiring speakers, discover new ideas, build lasting friendships, and be part of the best Rotary event of the year.

Dr. RaShall Brackney Chief of Police for the Jackson Police Department, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its July 21, 2026, club meeting. Chief Brackney addressed club members and guest about JPD goals and ways to tackle crime including community involvement. She also talked about how they work with the Capitol Police, and the Quick Response Team among other things.
