Club Elections Set
Club elections for the Rotary year 2024-2025 will be held tomorrow March 26th. Please plan to attend and vote for the officers & directors who will lead our club in the next Rotary year which begins on July 1st.
Prayer
Sovereign God, having come to these tables to add yet another experience of Rotary fellowship to the adventure of life, we give thanks for opportunity to be adventurers in our respective fields of endeavor. As we pursue our vocational journeys in a sometimes-unfriendly cultural environment, help us to hold fast to the high moral and ethical standards which lie at the heart of the Rotary experience. Give us the courage and will to employ the Four-Way Test in decision-making and in relationships. We thank you for food to sustain us, fellowship to enrich us, and ideas to inspire us. Rotary District 6820 Conference
Come join in the FUN and CELEBRTION at our Rotary District 6820 Conference April 12-13 in Meridian. There will be a business meeting, breakout learning sessions and celebrations during the two-day event. Here are two links about the conference and register information.
Our club hosted the Mississippi Economic Council's Amplify Tour for our March 19, 2024, meeting. Scott Waller, MEC's CEO & President and Jean Massey, Executive Director, Ascent to 55%, gave attendees an update on MEC's legislative priorities, healthcare, education, student financial aid and workforce funding.
