Update on Don
Don and Jackie came back home May 28th after a short time at Ochsner's in Kenner, LA and at a hotel. Don is following doctor's orders and getting rest and eating good food. Please continue to pray for Don as he recovers and for Jackie as she tries to keep Don form over doing it.
Dorsey Carson's House Fire
Please be in prayer for our fellow club member Dorsey Carson, his wife Susan and daughter Hays. Their house caught fire Wednesday May 28th while they were out of town. Thankfully their pet sitter was there and saved their pets and called the fire department before the house became a total loss. Please say a prayer or two for them as they navigate the road ahead.
Doug Levenway's Death
Our club member, Doug Levenway, passed away Sunday May 24th after battling a chronic illness. Please keep his wife, Kathe, along with his family and many friends, in your prayers. Visitation will be held today, Monday June 1st @ noon with the Requiem Eucharist @ 1:00p.m. at St. James' Episcopal Church.
Club Elections
Club elections for our officers and directors will be held during the June 2, 2026, meeting. Those on the ballot to serve during the 2026 - 2027 Rotary year starting in July are Officers, President, Suzie Tubbs; Vice-President, Bill Osborne; Secretary, Bruce Deer and Treasurer, Monica Lewis. The Directors are, Stanley Simpson, Ralph Clark, Greg Campbell, Rob Whitley and Cole Smith.
