Readers Needed
Readers are needed to read to the pre-k students at Walton Elementary School. The reading takes place on Friday's @ 11:30a.m. Reading only takes about 15 minutes or so. You can bring your own book or books or use one of theirs. Here are the dates that need readers: Oct. 3rd (1), Oct. 17th (1), Oct. 24th (2), Nov. 7th (1), Nov. 14th (1), Nov. 21st (1).
Prayer
Eternal God, we come before You mindful of a world filled with both sorrow and hope. We grieve the loss of innocent life and the divisions that wound our communities. Yet, as Rotarians, we also reaffirm our calling to live by the
Four-Way Test: to seek the truth, to be fair to all, to build goodwill and better friendships, and to serve in ways that are beneficial to all. In this time of reflection, help us turn away from words or actions that divide, and instead strengthen us to be instruments of compassion, fairness, and understanding. We give thanks for the fellowship gathered here, for the food that sustains us, and for the continual opportunities to serve others. May we, through Rotary, be a light in dark times and a reminder that unity and kindness are stronger than violence or discord.

September 9th Meeting
Michael Morris, Director of Two Mississippi Museums, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its September 9, 2025, meeting. Morris informed club members about the Two Museums and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. There are five divisions of DAH. Archives, Genealogy, Historic Buildings, Historic Objects and Research. The Two Museums compose of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Mississippi History Museum.
