Prayer:
O God, our Refuge and Strength, we are grateful for the confidence with which we can live because you are the Source of our ultimate security and hope. Grant us those blessings in response to our tenacious holding on integrity and faith.
We pray for Rotarians around the world today, that where they live and work will be better because of them. We pray for all who are in desperate situations because of illness, natural disasters, financial reverses, emotional pressures and other depression-causing circumstances.
May their suffering be relieved by the helping hands of others committed to serve others above themselves.
Help each of us to be among those who set worthy examples of integrity and compassion. Bless our gathering here today; including the food of which we partake and the fellowship we enjoy.
Amen.
