January 16th Meeting
Rabbi Joseph Rosen from the Beth Israel Congregation will be our guest speaker for the January 16th meeting. Rabbi Rosen will talk about the impact on his congregation and the local Jewish community as a result of the recent attacks on Israel.
Rotary International Service Trip
Our Past President Greg Campbell will be traveling with a group of Rotarians from our and other districts to Guadalajara, Mexico for a service trip January 20-27. If you would like to make a donation to help purchase medicines & medical supplies, crispy tacos for the kids, construction supplies, or other needed items, please give them to Greg Campbell or Don Roberts. If you are paying by check and want a tax write off, make it out to the Rotary 6820 Foundation and put Mexico Service Trip in the memo line. If no tax write off is needed, make the check to Rotary District 6820 International Service Account and put Mexico trip on the memo line.
Rotary RYLA
Our club is looking to sponsor a club member's child, grandchild or friend that is a sophomore - senior, to the Rotary RYLA. The Rotary Youth Leaders Assembly will be held Feb. 22-24 at Twin Lakes Camp near Florence. The students arrive Thursday night and finish Saturday afternoon. Please let Matt or Don know if you have a student interested.

Eternal God, as a prelude to our experience together today, we bow humbly before you in acknowledgment of your never-ending mercies. Gratefully we receive the gifts which flow from your beneficent hand. We offer our thanks for the blessings of food and for those who prepare and serve it. Bless our fellowship, our table conversations, and the efforts we make to serve others. Amen.
Service Project
Thirteen members of the Rotary Club of North Jackson took part in a service project at The Good Samaritan Center in Jackson on January 9, 2024. Good Samaritan Volunteer Coordinator Sarah Gayden Hammon, spoke to club members about Good Samaritan and the services they offer. Club members then spent time in the clothes closet
organizing clothes to prepare them for distribution to those in need. Shown in the photo below are club members that volunteered for the project.
