Prayer
O God of all creation, Designer of the natural order in which the phenomenon of growth gives beauty and excitement, we are grateful that in the spere of human affairs and organized structures, growth is also a desirable and anticipated experience. Having entered this month of August with its special emphasis on Membership Growth and Extension, we are aware that where growth does not prevail, there is lack of vibrant health. Accept our thanks for the food and friendship we enjoy today, and for opportunities to serve awaiting us beyond this meeting. Amen.

5th Tuesday Day of Service
Our club held its 5th Tuesday Day of Service on July 29th at The Mississippi Food Network. 14 members of the club took park in packing food boxes for the local food bank. Mississippi Food Network (MFN) has been feeding Mississippians since 1984. MFN distributes more than 1.5 million pounds of food and feeds more than 150,000 every month or a total of 1.8 million people per year. MFN takes donations from multiple sources and distributes food and goods through 430 member agencies. They, in turn, distribute to recipients in their own communities. Below are some photos from the project.
