Prayer

Almighty God, as we gather for yet another weekly opportunity to renew our fellow-ship and reaffirm our principles and purpose as Rotarians, we are grateful
for the gift of repetition, for returning to a familiar place, conversing again with friends and colleagues we have greeted numerous times before.

We are grateful for the cycles of exper-ience which give us security and confi-dence. As nature in springtime stirs herself from the dormancy of winter, as buds emerge with the promise of a flower, as we watch life come from decay and death, we have repeated assurance that you, O God, are able to turn our cries of suffering into songs of joy.

With hope represented in Spring, help us to be reenergized and recommitted to visions of service yet unrendered, goals not yet attained, and fires of faith yet unkindled.

As Rotaract Week is observed across the Rotary world, we pray for the young adults and leaders involved, that their motto, ”Fellowship Through Service", may be
 realized in significant ways.

Hear our prayer of thanksgiving for food and fellowship, by which we are energized and strengthened for recurring opportun- ities to serve others. Amen.
