Dr. Sanjib Shrestha was inducted into the Rotary Club of North Jackson at the Club's February 3, 2026, meeting. Dr. Shrestha is a native of Nepal. He completed medical school in India and has served globally as a physician. He completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at NYU and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. In the US, he has practiced in Mississippi and Virginia and is currently retired. Dr. Shrestha is shown below with his sponsor, Past President Don Roberts (left), and his proposer, Club President Neelam Goel.
February 3, 2026, Meeting
Jim Brinson, Interim Director, Mississippi Department of Homeland Security, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at the club's February 3, 2026, meeting. Brinson discussed the scope and activities of the MS DHS and responded to questions from the club membership.
