End Polio Now Run & Walk
Prayer
Eternal God, from various walks in life, from different family backgrounds and religious persuasions, and from varying vocations, we come together in unity of spirit and purpose. In this autumn season we acknowledge the magnificence of creation and the magnitude of your power in the natural world. We offer thanks for the food prepared for us and for table fellowship as we share these moments together. Help us to be appreciative of each other as we work together for others. Amen.

Club Visioning
Our club will have a Club Visioning Tuesday Oct. 8th from 5p.m.-9p.m. at the Rickhouse. A club visioning is where members of the club plan a 3-year vision that assists key leaders and interested members of a Rotary club in achieving continuity, consistency and consensus. If you are interested in attending this, please let Don Roberts know ASAP. Our club will not have a noon meeting on Tuesday the 8th.
Mark Kennedy's Passing
Club member Mark Kennedy passed away last Thursday at home. Mark joined the Rotary Club of North Jackson 45 years ago on January 1,1979. He served the club as President in the 1994-95 Rotary year. He was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation (" TRF ") in 1994. Because his continued support of TRF, Mark was recognized 4 more times as a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow. For Mark, a personal role in club service was important. After he served the club as President, Mark continued his service by leading the club's annual recognition of our local STAR Students and their Star Teachers for over 10 years, until he closed his dental office.
