NO CLUB MEETING TOMORROW
We will not have a club meeting tomorrow due to The Rickhouse having another event associated with Governor Tate Reeves' Inauguration events.
Rotary Service Trip
Our Past President Greg Campbell will be traveling with a group of Rotarians from our and other districts to Guadalajara, Mexico for a service trip January 20-27. If you would like to make a donation to help purchase medicines, hearing aids, construction supplies, or other needed items, please give them to Greg Campbell or Don Roberts. If you are paying by check and want a tax write off, make it out to the Rotary 6820 Foundation and put Mexico Service Trip in the memo line. If now tax write off is needed, make the check to Rotary District 6820 International Service Account and put Mexico trip on the memo line.
Rotary RYLA
Our club is looking to sponsor a club member's child, grandchild or friend that is a sophomore - senior, to the Rotary RYLA. The Rotary Youth Leaders Assembly will be held Feb. 22-24 at Twin Lakes Camp near Florence. The students arrive Thursday night and finish Saturday afternoon. Please let Matt or Don know if you have a student interested.
2024-2025 Board Elections
If you are interested in serving on the club's Board of Directors for the 24-25 Rotary year, please let Past President Larry Anderson know. We will be holding elections the first of the year.

January 2nd Meeting
Chris Blount, our own club member, was our guest speaker for the January 2nd meeting. Chris is Executive Director of the Wilson Research Foundation, the fundraising arm of The Methodist Rehabilitation Center. Chris gave an update on the Methodist Rehab operations throughout Mississippi. Shown in photo below is Chris with Club President Matt Monsour. Here is the link to the meeting video.
