C. J. Stewart Speaks to Rotary Club of North Jackson

U. S. Army veteran, C. J. Stewart spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its March 31, 2015 meeting about his experience as a soldier in Afghanistan, his injury, his recovery and the C. Stewart Foundation that he has started since his return. . Mr. Stewart  was a medic with the 101st Airborne Division of the U. S. Army. The C. J. Stewart Foundation is a non-profit organization that purchased the property in Clinton, MS that formerly was Boy Scout Camp Kickapoo and created Camp Downrange. Camp; Down Range is an outdoor adventure camp where youth from Mississippi can learn, develop, and apply life skills through participation in outdoor activities.  The C. J. Stewart Foundation says "we want Down Range to be a place where youth can learn their value as individuals and know they are loved.  We want them to learn they can be successful not for any other reason, but because of the God who loves them."
