District 6820 Governor Visits Rotary Club of North Jackson

District 6820 Governor Paul Bucurel visited and spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its February 10, 2015 meeting. Governor Paul, spoke about what is happening in District 6820. He encouraged Rotarians to attend the Joint Conference being held with S. E. Louisiana District 6840 at Beau Rivage in Biloxi April 10 - 12, 2015. He also encouraged Rotaians to support rotary International by becoming multiple Paul Harris Fellows and he discussed a District Grant that is being awarded to the Clean Water for Malawi project that Jackson Rotarian Victor Smith is leading. He said that RI president Gary Huang's home District in Taiwan is donating $10,000 to that project, which will combine with our District's grant to total $130,000. Congratulations to Victor and Clean Water for Malawi on their grant and for the success that they have had saving lives with the clean water.
