Jackson Prep Head of School Speaks to Rotary Club of North Jackson

Jason Walton, Ph.D. Head of School for Jackson Preparatory School spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its March 17, 2015 meeting. He was introduced by Ms. Kennady Galloway, Prep's Student Body President, 4.0 student, and athlete (tennis and track and field) He is shown on the right with Ms. Galloway and Club Member Robert Aiken, a 2003 graduate of Prep.
 
Dr. Walton discussed his vision for the school and its accomplishments, both academic and extracurricular.  He sid that many Prep graduates have gone away to attend college and professional school, but many have also returned home to make Missisipppi a better place. He pointed out that in adidtion to Robert Aiken, several North Jackson Rotarians have links to Prep. He also showed a  group of 30 Prep Seniors that scored 30 or higher on the ACT exam as well as newspaper articles about 4 prep baseball players who have signed baseball grants-in-aid to attend SEC schools - two to Mississippi State, One to Ole Miss and one to Alabama,
