The Rotary Club of North Jackson recognized the Precinct 4 Officers of the Quarter for the 2nd and red Quarters of 2022 at the club's January 24, 2023 meeting. Those officers are shown in the following photo.
Shown from the left are Officer Terrance Ratliff, Club Secretary Lori Greer, Officer Joshua Wilson, and Rotarian Steve Orlansky who chairs the Officer recognition program. These two officers were recognized for their outstanding police work apprehending thieves. Officer Wilson apprehended a thief exiting the Corner Market in the Maywood Mart Shopping Center with a cart full of food at 2:30 AM. Officer Ratliff apprehended two thieves stealing catalytic converters from a car at the Mac Haik dealership in North Jackson. Orlansky commented that he has been told that these converts are worth $2,000 on the black market. We thank the officers for their outstanding police work and for their service to the citizens of Jackson.
