Sue Lobrano Speaks to Rotary Club of North Jackson

Sue Lobrano, Executive Director, International Ballet Competition, spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson at its May 6, 2014 meeting. Ms. Lobrano discussed the history of the IBC and its impact on the Jackson Metropolitan Area. Per Ms.Lobrano, in 2010, the IBC brought $10 million of new spending to the Metro area in addition to giving deserving dancers the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. The next competition will be June 14 - 29, 2014 in Jackson. Rotary Club members are encouraged to volunteer to assist the IBC during the competition. The field of competitors has been selected. It represents 24 countries.. Ms. Lobrano is shown during her presentation.
