Representatives from WellsFest spoke to The Rotary
Club of North Jackson during its September 20th me-
eting. Ken Hodges, WellsFest committee member, told
club members about WellsFest, a 33 year old family fest-
ival held in Jackson on the last Saturday of September.
WellsFest, an outreach ministry of Wells United Methodist
Church, has raised over a million dollars for local charities.
Sandy Middleton, executive director of The Center for Vio-
lence Prevention and this year’s WellsFest beneficiary, in-
formed members about her organization. The Center pro-
vides shelter and therapy for those that have been sub-
ject to domestic violence and human trafficking. The
Rotary Club of North Jackson meets at The Country Club
of Jackson at noon on Tuesdays.  Shown are(from left)
Hodges; Lee Jenkins, club member; Middleton and Greg
Campbell, club member. We thank them for their commit-
ment to the community and for speaking to our club. We
wish them a successful WellsFest.
